Sage's litter - Week 6

Outdoor puppy play sessions are increasingly longer. They are developing their balance and getting their exercise by wrestling, running, and chasing. They are an affectionate bunch - coming back when called and not wandering too far from Sage and from us. Our entire family enjoys the time with them. Long naps follow their play. Sage is nursing up to two to three times a day. Other meals include raw meats - ground beef, chicken, and turkey with goat's milk. They are growing steadily and getting more and more accustomed to routine. They use their indoor potty area and are getting used to going potty outdoors when let out first thing in the morning, after naps, and after meals. They catch on quickly and are learning to keep their den clean. Their temperaments are proving to be playful, gentle, mellow, and loving.

Puppies First Day Out - Week 4

The puppies enjoyed their first day outside on Monday, November 17th.
They had a great time exploring the little puppy yard and running with each other. They wore themselves out pretty quickly on the fist day, with all the excitement of new smells and activities.

Sage Puppies Three Weeks Old

Sage's litter of puppies is three weeks old.

The pups are socializing with one another. Their eyes are open now. They are standing up, well; and, in the last couple of days, they have begun to play with each other. They have moved to their second den, in our living-room area and are enjoying a little more leg room to work on their running skills.
